Battlefield is the second studio album by American R&B and pop artist Jordin Sparks. It was first released on July 17, 2009 in Australia and Ireland, July 20 in the UK and from July 21 worldwide, on Jive Records. The album has debuted at number 7 in the US, number 11 in the UK, number 34 in Australia and top 20 in many territories. The album is a mixture of contemporary R&B and pop although many critics have cited dance-pop and pop-rock influences.
